Compliant and safe products
Products offered for sale to consumers must be safe. They either must not pose any risk to health and safety, or must pose only minimal and acceptable risks that are compatible with high health and safety standards.
Safety indications have been established by a series of EU directives, which have been implemented through the Consumer Code in Italy. Such norms apply to all goods, with the exception of food products. They also apply to products that are already regulated by EU norms, with respect to safety aspects not covered by those norms.
