Self-discipline

General principles

Self-discipline codes serve to collect self-regulatory practices of a given market sector in a systematic and organic manner. It is assumed that when several players of an economic sector adopt a set of shared rules which they believe are effective, such rules can be adopted by other players in similar situations.

Furthermore, the Chamber of Commerce in the exercise of its market regulation functions (art. 2 of Law 580/93), promotes self-discipline culture and market ethics, and provides practical help to trade associations who intend to adopt their own code of self-discipline.

You can find below a series of self-discipline codes to be read and used, according to your needs.
