Historical buildings
In Milan, two historical buildings belong to the Chamber of commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi. These sites are available to businesses to set up events, conventions, congresses, exhibitions, training courses, business dinners and temporary shops.
They offer multifunctional areas, equipped with the most innovative multimedia facilities, where old-style architectural solutions are combined with modern technologies.
Palazzo Turati, commissioned by Earls Turati, was designed in 1880 by engineers Ponti and Bordoli, who had already designed the adjacent building in 1876.
From the 1930s onward, a silk and a grain market were housed in the building.
In 1954, it became the headquarters of the Milan Chamber of commerce.
Nowadays, it is a modern congress center, where businesses meet in an historical and institutional setting.
This historical eight-hundred-year-old building overlooks Piazza Mercanti, right in the heart of the city.
Over the centuries, it has been restored several times. The last restoration was completede in 1991. Since then, Palazzo Giureconsulti, which includes four floors and nine meeting rooms of different sizes, has been hosting conventions, conferences and exhibitions.
