Devices
By the various devices for digitally signing, it is possible to:
- Digitally sign electronic documents, so that they have the same legal validity as hand-signed ones;
- Ensure integrity and validity of a digitally signed document;
- Access online services of Public Administrations or other entities, in order to find/check the personal data which has been uploaded on public service websites ( the Revenue Agency, INPS, ASL, etc.);
- View documents of your company for free (company profiles, deeds, annual accounts, etc.), uploaded from the Business Register.
Types of devices
- The smart card is a digital device similar to an electronic card. In order to use it, you must have an electronic card reader connected to your computer. Such readers are not sold together with the smart cards, but should be purchased separately;
- The token (business key) is a USB driver which has to be directly connected to a USB port of your computer. It is equipped with a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module), which is provided together with the token, and with a signature software.
