How to regularize applications
Incomplete applications are considered irregular: for example, those which have not been digitally signed, lack the required attached documentation, or are unreadable.
The office carrying out preliminary control can ask the applicant, before processing the application, to complete or amend his application, giving him a reasonable deadline for attaching all the required documents. Once the deadline is expired, if the application has not been completed, the office will deny the registration by a reasoned decision. The office is always entitled to request specific declarations, documents, and amendments to wrong or incomplete declarations/applications. It is also entitled to make technical inspections.
How to proceed
When irregularities are found, the office can request:
- That the whole application is submitted again, specifying the reference number of the application to be regularized;
- That parts of the application are corrected, via message board on the online platform that the applicant accessed. The board has the purpose of helping the applicant interact with a Business Register officer. Via the attachment section, it is possible to add new attachments to the application in order to correct any possible irregularity, after being authorized by an officer.
