Roll of Assessors and Experts: how to register

To register with the Roll, you must:


The documents to be attached are:

  • A relevant form and its attachment (only in Italian), signed by the applicant.
    • If the applicant submits the documents in person, he/she must sign them in front of an official of the Chamber of Commerce and produce his/her identity document;
    • If the documents are not submitted by the applicant, the person in charge must submit a photocopy of the applicant’s identity document and produce his/her ID as well;
  • A detailed CV, including:
    • Business and personal data (such as: name, business name, place of residence, registered office) of the businesses/natural persons that have already obtained your assessments/expert opinions, relevant to the categories for which the aforementioned form has been submitted;
    • Data, addresses and registered offices of the businesses/professionals that have previously hired the applicant, specifying position held, tasks performed and exact working period for each of the employment relationships;
    • Freelance activities carried out in the past, specifying the relevant period;
    • Activities currently carried out, and their start date. In the case of an employment relationship, you must specify the employer’s business name and address, the position held, and the tasks performed. In the case of self-employment activities, you must specify business names and registered offices of your main customers and providers;
    • Your qualifications;
    • Professionals courses attended, certificates and awards obtained, essays and articles published, related to the product category of interest.
  • Qualifications and Assessments:
    • Photocopies of assessments and expert opinions showing the relevant original documents;
    • Photocopies of qualifications and professional course certificates showing the relevant original documents;
    • Photocopies of certificates of patent filing and certificates of merit;
    • Photocopies of any document certifying the registration with an Enabling Roll for technical activities;
    • Photocopies of published essays and articles;
    • Photocopies of written statements/reports that have been presented at conferences/workshops.

If the Chamber of Commerce, at its own unquestionable judgement, finds that the qualifications and the documentation submitted are not enough for proving the applicant’s eligibility, it has the right to call him for an interview. In this case, he will receive a specific notification.

  • Photocopy of a residence permit (showing the relevant original document)

ID badge

At the moment, ID badges are not issued for newly registered assessors/experts anymore. Those who are interested can apply for a profile directly at the counter. The profile is full proof of the registration with the Roll of Assessors and Experts.

Transfer from a different province

Applicants must submit registration requests, filling out the relevant forms and their attachments (stamp duties are required) and specifying the Chambers of Commerce of origin and the Roll registration numbers. Further documentation is not required.
