Digital Signature
The digital signature allows signing electronic documents by a “digital certificate” of self-authentication. Such documents have the same legal validity as hand-signed ones.
The digital certificate is the electronic equivalent of an identity document, because it serves to identify individuals or entities. It is a personal document, it cannot be duplicated and it is not possible to transfer the ownership. It can be used within the validity period; after the expiration date, it will become ineffective.
