Due to the current health alert, it is not possible to file price lists in person at the Prices Office in Milan. However, such service is available online.

Once registered in the Business Register, companies can file their wholesale price and tariff lists at the Prices Office. Such filing is not mandatory and constitutes a form of legal advertising. For further information, see our Regulation on the filing of price/tariff lists and related activities (only in Italian).

How to

Price lists can be registered:

Necessary documentation:

  • A formal request for price lists filing, printed on the company’s letterhead, stamped and numbered on each page by the legal representative/owner of the company;
  • A photocopy of a valid ID of the legal representative/owner of the company;
  • A price list, that will be kept by the Prices Office in the Chamber’s archives;
  • All the copies of the price list that the company is going to use, which will be stamped and returned.

All price lists must be bound, even with staples only. The prices shown in the price list must be in euros; their validity period must also be shown.
The Chamber of Commerce assumes no responsibility for the content of the price lists, or the clauses/conditions contained therein.

Visas on price lists

Prices Office can affix/issue, on request of a company:

  • Visas on the filing of price lists, that will be affixed concurrently or within five workdays, with the submission of the relevant request for price list filing;
  • Conformity visas, affixed within five workdays of the request, attesting the conformity of the prices contained in accounting documents with those contained in a filed price list;
  • Uncertified copies of filed price lists;
  • Certified copies of filed price lists.

The aforementioned service involves the payment of an administrative tax for price lists and, in addition, of a stamp duty for certified copies.

Public/military bodies and non-profit cooperatives are exempt from the payment of such fees.
