The Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is a unique code consisting of 20 alphanumeric characters. It has the purpose of identifying legal entities participating in financial transactions held in markets and legal systems all over the world.
The legal entities entitled to obtain a LEI code are businesses and investment funds.
The Chamber of Commerce does not issue LEI codes. For further information on how to obtain it, visit the dedicated website.
