Remote Digital Signature

Definition
The remote digital signature is a digital device that differs from the “traditional” ones; in fact, it does not need to be connected to a physical tool. Thanks to RDS, it is not necessary to:

  • bring a dedicated physical device with you;
  • Insert a smart card into a card reader;
  • insert a token into a USB port.

The remote digital signature makes it possible to digitally sign a document via:

  • Digital DNA ICa free app (available for both iOS and Android) for smartphones or tablets;
  •  Firma4NG, a free software for personal computers.
